The 1993 ZXR 750 L1 was the fourth major revision of Kawasaki's ZXR750, adding Ram-Air induction, revised pistons, head and cams, and longer rear suspension travel. Reviewers found strong top-end pull and good steering and handling, with the rear end still a weak point. It was followed by the ZX-7R in 1996, and the L-series bikes are generally regarded as the best-handling of the early ZXR750s.
